Booking and Appointments
- Sessions are scheduled by appointment only.
- Please arrive on time. Late arrivals may result in a shortened session to respect the next client's time.
- Intake forms must be completed prior to your first session.
Cancellation and No Show Policy
- A minimum of 24 hours notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling.
- Late cancellations (within 24 hours) and no shows may be charged 50 to 100% of the session fee.
- Emergencies and illnesses will be considered on a case by case basis.
Payment Policy
- Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed upon.
- Accepted payment methods are listed on the Contact page.
- All sales are final once a service has been rendered.
Health and Illness Policy
- If you are feeling unwell (fever, flu symptoms, contagious illness), please reschedule your session.
- Sessions may be declined or modified if there are contraindications to massage.
- Your safety and wellbeing are always the priority.
Informed Consent and Communication
- Your session is collaborative. You will be informed of the proposed treatment plan and may ask questions at any time.
- You have the right to request adjustments in pressure, technique, or focus areas, and to pause or stop the session at any time.
- Open communication is encouraged to ensure the best possible outcome.
Professional Boundaries
- This is a professional therapeutic environment. Clear boundaries are maintained at all times.
- Any inappropriate behavior will result in immediate termination of the session and refusal of future services.
Draping and Privacy
- Proper draping is used throughout the entire session to ensure your comfort, safety, and privacy.
- Only the area being worked on is exposed at any given time.
Confidentiality
- All client information, including health history and session details, is kept strictly confidential.
- Information will never be shared without your written consent, except where required by law.
Scope of Practice
- Services are provided within the professional scope of massage therapy, breathwork coaching, and endurance coaching.
- These sessions are not a substitute for medical care. Clients are encouraged to seek appropriate healthcare providers when needed.
- Referrals will be made when a condition falls outside the scope of practice.
Treatment Approach
- Each session is tailored to your individual needs and goals.
- Sessions may incorporate a range of techniques to support recovery, relaxation, performance, and nervous system regulation.
- Ongoing treatment plans may be recommended based on your goals and response to care.
Hygiene and Professional Standards
- Clean linens are used for every client.
- Strict hygiene practices are followed, including handwashing and sanitation.
- A neutral, scent free environment is maintained to support all clients.
Right of Refusal
A session may be refused or discontinued if:
- The condition is outside scope of practice.
- The client presents with a contraindication.
- Boundaries are not respected.
