Policies

Office and Client Policies

To ensure a safe, professional, and effective experience for every client, the following policies are in place. These guidelines are designed to support clear communication, mutual respect, and high quality care.

Standards

What you can count on every time

Some things don't flex session to session. These do not.

Hygiene

Cleanliness and sanitation are expected of every client, and upheld throughout every session. Linens, tools, and surfaces are held to the same standard every time.

Confidentiality

Every session is approached from a trauma informed perspective, whatever the condition, pathology, or headspace you walk in with. What's shared in the room stays there.

Safety and Privacy

Draping, contraindications, and enhancement sites are always top of mind, so the work stays safe and your privacy is never an afterthought.

Office

Booking and Appointments

  • Sessions are scheduled by appointment only.
  • Please arrive on time. Late arrivals may result in a shortened session to respect the next client's time.
  • Intake forms must be completed prior to your first session.

Cancellation and No Show Policy

  • A minimum of 24 hours notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling.
  • Late cancellations (within 24 hours) and no shows may be charged 50 to 100% of the session fee.
  • Emergencies and illnesses will be considered on a case by case basis.

Payment Policy

  • Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed upon.
  • Accepted payment methods are listed on the Contact page.
  • All sales are final once a service has been rendered.

Health and Illness Policy

  • If you are feeling unwell (fever, flu symptoms, contagious illness), please reschedule your session.
  • Sessions may be declined or modified if there are contraindications to massage.
  • Your safety and wellbeing are always the priority.

Informed Consent and Communication

  • Your session is collaborative. You will be informed of the proposed treatment plan and may ask questions at any time.
  • You have the right to request adjustments in pressure, technique, or focus areas, and to pause or stop the session at any time.
  • Open communication is encouraged to ensure the best possible outcome.

Professional Boundaries

  • This is a professional therapeutic environment. Clear boundaries are maintained at all times.
  • Any inappropriate behavior will result in immediate termination of the session and refusal of future services.

Draping and Privacy

  • Proper draping is used throughout the entire session to ensure your comfort, safety, and privacy.
  • Only the area being worked on is exposed at any given time.

Confidentiality

  • All client information, including health history and session details, is kept strictly confidential.
  • Information will never be shared without your written consent, except where required by law.

Scope of Practice

  • Services are provided within the professional scope of massage therapy, breathwork coaching, and endurance coaching.
  • These sessions are not a substitute for medical care. Clients are encouraged to seek appropriate healthcare providers when needed.
  • Referrals will be made when a condition falls outside the scope of practice.

Treatment Approach

  • Each session is tailored to your individual needs and goals.
  • Sessions may incorporate a range of techniques to support recovery, relaxation, performance, and nervous system regulation.
  • Ongoing treatment plans may be recommended based on your goals and response to care.

Hygiene and Professional Standards

  • Clean linens are used for every client.
  • Strict hygiene practices are followed, including handwashing and sanitation.
  • A neutral, scent free environment is maintained to support all clients.

Right of Refusal

A session may be refused or discontinued if:

  • The condition is outside scope of practice.
  • The client presents with a contraindication.
  • Boundaries are not respected.

A Shared Commitment

This practice is built on trust, professionalism, and respect. These policies exist to create a consistent, high quality experience for every client. If you have any questions about these policies, please feel free to ask prior to your session.
